How Do You Balance Asynchronous and Synchronous Elements in a Blended Learning Course?

by Devin Tate - Number of replies: 0

Hi everyone,

I’m in the early stages of designing a blended learning course for adult learners and I’m trying to figure out the best way to balance asynchronous (self-paced) materials with synchronous (live) sessions.

My main goal is to keep learners engaged without overwhelming them, especially since many of them are working professionals. I’d love to hear how others have structured their blended courses:

How do you decide what content should be asynchronous vs. synchronous?

What’s your typical weekly breakdown (e.g., hours of each)?

Have you noticed better engagement or outcomes with more live interaction or more flexibility? geometry dash lite

Any tips, tools, or even example schedules would be hugely appreciated. Thanks in advance!
